This week I meet up with Jef Rhodes of THEM DAMN KINGS. Jef and I met as so many of us music lovers do, at a show. I happened to be on vacation and decided to check out a show at a local venue. Jef happened to be working the board that evening and we started chatting up all things music. Turns out, as fate would have it, Jef had a righteous band of his own, THEM DAMN KINGS. I was 1000 miles from home and the man I met happened to be from my home state of NJ. We knew all of the same places and all of the same music. Jef sent me his bands stuff that he was working on and it brought me right back home. Jef has had an extensive career in the biz, from playing in bands to being a backline tech & engineering for bands like LACUNA COIL, OPETH, CRADLE OF FILTH and many others.
