Why Would I Watch? by Hot Mulligan Album Review

In this week's episode, Matt and Ryan take another adventure into the world of modern emo music with the 2023 album Why Would I Watch? by Hot Mulligan. This band follows the tradition of pop-punk/emo with very creative song titles: No Shoes In The Coffee Shop (Or Sock, This Song Is Called It's Called What's it Called and John "The Rock" Cena, Can You Smell What The Undertaker. The band claims to have invented Post-Emo and has musical peers to the likes of The Wonder Years, Tiny Moving Parts and Knuckle Puck.
Matt and Ryan tackle several areas of discussion in this review: the meaning of the song titles, the beauty of music as a form of therapy and how this band compares to the likes of Spanish Love Songs.
