Welcome, brave adventurers...

… to the fifth entry into the Heroes Rise chronicle. This episode was recorded on Saturday, 23rd December 2017, and made available for download on Wednesday, 27th December 2017 at heroesrisepodcast.com

Ostron, Ryu and Lennon are back again this week, and Lennon’s hidden the Killer DM hat somewhere safe. In this week’s show, Ostron dips into his Adventurer’s Pack and teaches us how to spell. Then we take a look at some D&D News as we bring you:

  • Dragon + issue 17
  • And some news on the Revised Ranger from the latest episode of Dragon Talk

After that we take a Short Rest and poke our heads into the Gnomish Workshop where we resume looking at different bonuses DMs can give to their players; before finally finishing off the show by looking into the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions

Has D&D impacted your life in a meaningful way? Are there any in-game moments that helped you in real-life that you’d like to share?

Now that we have more details about the RR, what are your thoughts? Do you agree that it’s just the Beastmaster that needs fixing? Would you prefer an entirely new class, a sub-class, or are you happy with the idea of Ability Swaps? What would you like to see from UA in 2018?

Heroes Rise are always on the lookout for new team members that have a passion for Dungeons and Dragons. Our adventure has now ended, and we've hung up our robe and wizard hats to enjoy our retirement on the Sword Coast, running a tavern where a fresh band of adventurers may meet and start quests of their own. We're still around on Discord, and you should come and join the Heroes Rise community at http://discord.heroesrisepodcast.com

A special thanks to Vindsvept for making the awesome music you hear throughout the show, be sure to check him out at
