Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the eighty-first entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday July 20th, and released Wednesday July 24th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

Sooo… yeah. Lennon got back from his appointment with the clerics only to then come down with something he claims is the Ryu Flu, but since I’ve not had it he’s clearly picked up an inferior version. Because of that, we’ve dragged our head scribe Gath Memvar in!

In this week’s Adventurer’s Pack, Ryu shows us one of her favourite dragons! I know, try to contain your shock. Next we check out some D&D News as we uncover:

  • Jeremy Crawford teaching us how to spell
  • And the D&D Adventurer’s League Season 9 roadmap

After that we’ll take a Short Rest in the Archives of Candlekeep to revisit realism in games, before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions

What’s your impression of Jeremy’s explanation of the rules? Is this going to blow up your table’s play sessions, do you think he’s spot on, or does that not affect you at all?

What do you think the main reason for a separate Adventurer’s League campaign is? Is it a tease to pull people into AL, or is it a softer alternative to the probably dark Avernus module?

Are you going to be grabbing the revised and errata-ed Tyranny of Dragons? What do you think of the cover art?

Our adventure has now ended, and we've hung up our robe and wizard hats to enjoy our retirement on the Sword Coast, running a tavern where a fresh band of adventurers may meet and start quests of their own. We're still around on Discord, and you should come and join the Heroes Rise community at http://discord.heroesrisepodcast.com
