Welcome back to Heroes Have Wings, where we dig deep into the lives of warriors who’ve pushed the limits and redefined courage. Today, we’re honored to introduce Duane Taylor—a legend who served 22 years and packed a lifetime of heroism into every moment. Born and raised in small-town Havana, Illinois, Duane took on some of the Army’s toughest challenges. From earning the titles of Ranger, Airborne, and Pathfinder to holding a DD214 that’s three pages long, this man embodies dedication with every stripe and medal he’s earned.
But Duane isn’t just a decorated soldier; he’s a proud family man, a collector of old foreign currency, and a guy who finds peace in the outdoors, whether he's fishing, hunting, or just digging in the garden. Today, he’s here to pull back the curtain on the sacrifices and raw reality of the medevac community—giving us all a glimpse of what it truly means to serve with honor.
