Here in the northern hemisphere, it's midsummer.

When the abundant harvests start rolling in; when the heat beckons us to oceansides, rivers and lakes; when traveling and camping and friends and family visiting are upon us; and when everything feels like it's happening all at once.

Plus, we have to keep up with our daily life responsibilities, our chores, our families, and our work.

It's a time that feels over-full, and like it's happening so fast it's hard to keep up.

Which is exactly the right time to prioritize slowing down. Especially in these moments that feel beyond busy, taking what I like to call "time out of time" is essential medicine.

In this week's episode, I invite you to explore how you might deepen your connection to your own womb's innate rhythms in order to access some of this time out of time.

Listen to the episode to learn:

  • what I mean by "time out of time"
  • how we can learn from ancestral traditions and intact cultures about making the space to celebrate and connect with self and community even in the busiest seasons
  • what your innate womb rhythms are, and how to explore them as access points to altered states of consciousness or presence that allow you to enjoy more
  • how your womb rhythms extend beyond your cycling years
  • brief physiology of the menstrual cycle, arousal, ovulation + fertilization, childbearing rhythms, and life phases associated with your womb to help you visualize your rhythms
  • some simple ideas for ways to connect with the womb rhythms you most resonate with
