Okay, let's be real. 1 out of every 3 births in the United States is a cesarean. So, if you've experienced a C-section birth, you're far from alone.
That said, many people wish to achieve a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and possibly even want to try that at home.
And while there's certainly risk involved, there's also a very high success rate.
So what can you do to prepare yourself for a successful VBAC?
So much! And today's guest, naturopath and clinical herbalist Jahwei Chen-Graf shares all about her personal embodied experience of her home birth-turned-cesarean and her TWO subsequent vaginal births at home.
She reveals all the holistic ways she prepared for her VBAC, including homeopathic remedies, herbs, finding the right care provider, movement, mindset, book recommendations, and more.
And she gives tips gleaned from her clinical practice, too.
Her stories are insightful and inspiring, and the truth is we need to hear more positive birth stories, and especially stories that challenge what we've been told and help us to trust our bodies innate wisdom.
Whether or not you've had a cesarean, if you're preparing for a natural birth, this episode is perfect for you.
