If you're familiar with my style, you know I'm not a this-for-that kind of herbalist so when I was asked the question a couple weeks ago, "what herbs do you recommend for hormonal health?" My answer was unsurprisingly, "it depends."

But I wanted to create something to answer that question that also incorporates the concept of WHY we would choose each of these herbs.

Not just what the herbs are, not just their actions, but how they support hormonal health from a more wide-lens perspective.

So I referred back to the 5 herbal pillars of hormonal health that I covered last summer, and chose a range of some of my favorite herbs that cover each of those, so you have a few herbs you can begin to explore depending on what symptoms and patterns you see showing up in your body hormonally.

No matter what menstrual challenge or peri-menopausal weirdness you've got going on, it's likely at least one of these herbs may be an ally for you.

In the end, it's less about the exact symptoms and more about what's underlying your imbalances that matters.

And you'll hear all about that and more in this episode.

Listen to learn:

  • why hormonal health is more complex than just addressing symptoms
  • review the 5 herbal pillars of hormonal health
  • 10 of my favorite herbs to incorporate into hormonal health formulas
  • specific indications, energetics and insights on each herb
  • how tracking your symptom patterns helps you choose herbs
