Three Reasons You're Not Losing Weight During Menopause and Steps to Break the Plateau

Here are three ways to overcome your weight loss plateau:

1. PROTEIN, you need .8-1.2 grams of protein per POUND of body weight, most

2. Too much cardio. Your body during menopause can hold unhealthy levels of cortisol with too much cardio. Optimum fat loss during menopause comes from zone 2 cardio 1-3 days a week and strength training 3-4. Strength training can be weights (light weight is preferred but whatever makes you feel empowered and healthy), body weight, resistance bands, or a combination of all of them. 

3. REST. Most women I work with spend far too much time on social media. If you have time to scroll, you have time to sleep. Set a boundary with your phone, it isn't serving you at ALL. Stop posting and spending hours on reels saving recipes you'll never make (don't be like me lol) 8 hours of sleep per night is key to reaching your weight loss goals in menopause. You don't run out of time, you just need to manage it better.
