Do you believe in the power of prayer?

I was stuck in my own head about what I thought I knew, turns out, per usual that God knows best. Do you believe this to be true? 

I hope so, because it is.

He hurts when you starve yourself or food shame over a treat. He aches for you to see your worth as you lift heavy weights that are hurting your joints. Instead of trying harder, start surrendering more. 

I was lifting heavy 5 days a week and doing low impact cardio 3 times a week with little stretching or rest. I was overtrained and sore. This past March I went on a work trip to the Dominican Republic and heard one of our trainers talk about a body weight program that took her metabolic age from 48 to 27, I was intrigued. 

I came home and started her prep calendar and the weight melted off. I was holding a ton of inflammation in my body and pairing that with 600-800 more calories I started to see serious changes in my body. I feel amazing. I exercise 20 minutes a day and walk my dog 2 miles. I've lost almost 25 pounds since the change. 

You don't need to lift heavy weights, you shouldn't be doing HIIT training over 40. Your body functions pretty simply, we just over complicate it.
