On today’s "Hello Houston," Ernie, Frank, and Celeste share their thoughts on the top stories of the day such as the new “Take It Down” Act, the advancement of Texas bills that regulate college curriculum and restrict protesting on college campuses, and a Houston man suing Whataburger over onions at the top of each hour.

In the first hour of the show, we welcome the Mayor of Katy William “Dusty” Thiele, who took the oath of office last Wednesday for a three-year term as Katy’s mayor. He discusses what he would like to focus on during his term as mayor.

Plus, we discuss how Medicaid cuts could impact Texas hospitals with Darbin Wofford, Deputy Director of Health Care for the nonprofit Third Way.

In the second hour, we talk about the Energy Star program and why it’s at risk with Johanna Neumann, the Senior Director of Campaign for 100% Renewable Energy at the Environment America Research & Policy Center.

Also, we hear from Houston-based artist Karen Navarro, and Discovery Green artistic director Susanne Theis who tell us about Discovery Green’s Art Lab and a new pop-up art installation that will be coming soon to the park.
