On today's "Hello Houston," Ernie, Frank, and Celeste weigh in on the big stories of the day such as former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis, Galveston's Jeep Weekend, a bill that increases the severity of punishment for students who attack their teachers, and more at the top of each hour.

In the first hour, our hosts talk with Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez who discusses his advocacy for Harris County deputies getting proper compensation after the mayor’s pay raise for Houston police, and more.

Also, we hear from Dr. Steven Canfield, a urologist at UTHealth Houston, who calls in to share insight on former President Biden's recent prostate cancer diagnosis. 

Then, in the second hour, Ross Miller, a Houston immigration attorney and managing shareholder of the immigration firm Gonzalez Olivieri LLC, discusses the latest deportation numbers here in Houston and the Trump administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act.
