On today’s Hello Houston, Ernie, Frank, and Celeste discuss the top stories of the day at the top of each hour including Elon Musk’s opposition to Trump’s “big, beautiful bill," Texas Senate Bill 25 that would require warning labels on foods that contain ingredients "not recommended for human consumption," and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordering the Navy to rename the USNS Harvey Milk.

In the first hour of the show, we also talk with Adam Savage, the former co-host of MythBusters and the editor-in-chief of Tested.com. Then, Houston-born filmmaker Karen Morey tells us about her feature-length directorial debut and filmmaking career.

In the second hour, we hear the latest installment in the “Friends of Frank” series as Frank talks with engineer Dale Link who has been successful in predicting the paths and landfalls of hurricanes. Plus, we also hear from Alley Theatre Resident Acting Company member Melissa Molano who discusses her role in the play Private Lives on stage now.
