On today’s Hello Houston, Frank and Celeste discuss a lawsuit filed by two Houston ISD parents against the district after teachers and staff allegedly continued to use their child's preferred pronouns despite requests from the parents not to at the top of the first hour.

Also, in the first hour, we hear the latest installment of Party Politics co-host Brandon Rottinghaus’ new feature Texperts, in which he discusses and explains the Texas Governor’s veto power. Then, we talk with Laurette Veres, owner of The Bridal Extravaganza Show, who breaks down the summer wedding season.

In the second hour, we hear from Jacques Bourgeois, current chair of Mayor Whitmire’s LGBTQ advisory board, who tells us about this weekend’s PRIDE events, and we hear the newest installment of Celeste’s recurring feature Cold Coffee, in which she chats with former professional cyclist and current Houstonian Lawson Craddock.
