On today’s Hello Houston, Ernie, Frank, and Celeste weigh in on the top stories of the day at the top of each hour including seven army bases going back to having the names of Confederate leaders, Mayor John Whitmire’s response to U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt’s letter, President Trump's military parade, and more.

In the first hour of the show, Dr. Jeff Temple, a licensed psychologist, professor and Associate Dean of Clinical Research at the UTHealth School of Behavioral Health Sciences, discusses summer-pattern seasonal affective disorder and other current mental health concerns.

Then, we hear from Deyadira Arellano and Nalleli Hidalgo of Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services or T.E.J.A.S., a Houston-area non-profit dedicated to promoting environmental protection.

In the second hour, Rice University’s Dr. Weston Twardowski joins us to discuss a special project to preserve the voices and stories of Indigenous people here in Texas, and we hear Celeste’s conversation with two of The Wiggles, the successful Australian children's music group who are playing in Houston tonight.
