I am joined by Shakira Releford for episode 51.
Shakira is the host of two podcasts, Nonprofit UNPLUGGED and Boss Builders. She’s a mentor, coach, and educator when it comes to all things business, and trauma-informed wellness. Shakira is also a Behavior analyst who started her nonprofit, Connecting Youth Achievement Center, working with children to provide behavior management intervention and social and emotional learning in urban communities. She is super ambitious and loves to go after her goals and share her experiences with the world to help others.
Shakira and I discuss her experience as a black woman, how culture has affected her eating, and how to find a support person.
Shakira shares how she found a support person along her journey and her three step strategy to healing.
