'Inner Child Healing' - Workshop 2 on recognising and accepting what may have caused you pain in your childhood, with David Challenor

Inner child work, also referred to as inner child healing, is a way to address our needs that may not have been met as children and to heal the pain or attachment wounds, that we may have experienced as a child. When we experience intense feelings & emotions in our day to day life, this is usually because our inner child within is reliving a repressed emotion that has been activated by a present day event and which is reminiscent of an old painful feeling.

Some of us may have undergone some trauma as a child, which may have resulted in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and so by healing our inner child, will allow us to go back to the time of this pain/trauma and to subconsciously accept what happened to us, to enable us forgive and to move on consciously. 

In this workshop, David will take us through a guided meditation which will enable us to create the space and to go into ourselves so that we can explore our authentic feelings. By allowing ourselves time to go within, we begin peeling back our everyday coping mechanisms, which may include being avoidant or numbing of our feelings, and we are then able to integrate our subconscious into our consciousness.
