We turn our attention to an incident that’s more hush-hush than a library in finals week. I’m talking about the story that pretty much only Potomac Local News, with its steadfast commitment to that local beat, seems willing to dig into. Here’s the lowdown: In the wee hours of May 3rd, two fellows driving a box truck rolled up to the gates of Quantico Marine Corps Base—with aspirations of crashing Amazon’s delivery scene, it seems—or so they claimed. But something about this delivery smelled fishier than a Red Lobster dumpster. Military police officers were skeptical of this supposedly Amazonian excursion, so they directed the pair to a secondary check area. And that’s when things got real: the driver hit the pedal heavy enough to start a metal band called 'Gas Against the Marines.'
