RESTRICT Act Is this about banning Tik Tok or ....... ?
On today's episode of You Need to Know, we'll be discussing a new bill in Congress that has been making headlines recently but not nearly enough. The bill is called the Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology Act, or the RESTRICT Act for short.
Is the RESTRICT Act the Patriot Act 2.0 for the internet?
Does it give unelected bureaucrats by the Department of Commerce unfettered access to all the data on our computers, phones, security cameras, internet browsing history and payment applications?
