For over 30 years, Steven Ing has dedicated his life to helping others as a marriage and family therapist, with a unique focus on forensic work. He’s a prolific contributor to Psychology Today and the author of two insightful books on sexuality: "We're All Like This" and "Get Busy Living."

Steven’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. He’s the host of the true-crime podcast Sex Crime Central and co-host of the relationship podcast Managing Love Intelligently. Despite surviving a harrowing attempted murder in 2022, Steven’s resilience led to the publication of his feminist science fiction novel, "Polliwog," in 2023, and his appointment as a community faculty member at the UNR School of Medicine.

Today, Steven and our host Cat Meyer dive deep into the essence of intimacy, human connection, and the multifaceted experience of love. They explore the intricacies of love languages, the importance of emotional intelligence, and the privilege that comes with truly knowing someone. Join us as we uncover the magic of life through the lens of one of the most insightful minds in the field.

In this episode, we discuss the following:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Love Languages
  • The Full Range of Human Experience
