First, it would appear that Uncle John Keawe's show in Carlsbad, CA on 11/11 is cancelled. The show notes from Sunday have been updated (below).
Then, listener Uncle Dick sent along the following updates for the Palo Alto/San Jose area:
- In San Jose on the first Wednesday of each month there is a Hawaiian open-mic night at a place called Espresso Garden on Bascom Avenue.
- This Saturday, Ozzie Kotani will give a slack-key workshop at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto.
- Every Friday and Saturday beginning at 8 pm there is live Hawaiian music at the Hukilau restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. It's a different band every night.
