11. Sanctus
Composed entirely by Süßmayr (based on Mozart’s style).
12. Benedictus
Composed entirely by Süßmayr.
More lyrical and quartet-driven, distinct in character.
13. Agnus Dei
Composed by Süßmayr, but modeled closely on earlier Mozart works.
Themes echo the Kyrie and Requiem.
14. Communio: Lux aeterna
Süßmayr reused Mozart’s Introit and Kyrie themes for continuity.
Composed by Süßmayr, but largely based on Mozart’s earlier music.
15. Communio: Cum sanctis tuis
Fugue based on the Kyrie theme, composed by Süßmayr.
Ends the Requiem with a return to Mozart’s opening material.
