Freda Payne’s rich, powerful, soulful voice has been captivating audiences all over the world for over 50 years.  She became a global superstar in 1970 with her massive hit, “Band of Gold”, which earned her first gold record.  She’s recorded 26 albums, appeared in movies, hosted her own TV talk show, and starred in stage productions including, most recently, “Ella Fitzgerald: First Lady of Song”.   She’s been inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame, AND the Soul Music Hall of Fame THREE TIMES.  And most recently, she’s released a new album called “Let There Be Love”, a collection of duets with iconic vocalists including the legendary Johnny Mathis.
