At the age of 14, this happy, athletic and popular young girl suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury in a jet ski accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. In an instant, her entire life was turned into the worst nightmare imaginable. In the 16 years since then, by sheer determination and strength of will, she turned herself first into a survivor, then a warrior, and now she’s a popular author and media personality. 

She has written three books, entitled “Greater Things”, “Date Me” and “A Million Suns”.
