When Moses is on the top of Mount Sinai (Exodus 34:6) & asks to see God & know God’s name. God passes before him & says the name YHWH & gives Moses a list of attributes.

Rachuwm (or Compassionate) is at the top of the list. 

The root of the word Rachuwm is womb, as in a mother’s womb.

YHWH Rachuwm

God is compassionate.
