Self-discipline can be a difficult, or even triggering word for some of us. It can conjure up images & feelings of not begin "good" enough.
This meditation, however, seeks to reclaim the notion of self-discipline, in a sense. Thinking of it as a dance between "what we want now" & "what we want most" can be a beautiful image, giving us clarity with what we desire to see come into fruition in our lives. And what we desire to let go of!
And the imagery of planting seeds is one that resonates very much with me, as I love nature metaphors; & there is just so much we can learn from nature.
