In the second episode of the second series of Half Hour Mentor, scriptwriter and theatre director Steve Bennett shares his fascinating backstory on how he became a scriptwriter for TV programmes such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Holby City, and ended up directing the likes of Paul Newman, Christopher Reeve and Rebecca de Mornay in theatre. He is currently Director of Drama at Cambridge University’s Downing College.
