This week the boys go back....WAY back. In fact, there's no superhero movie that would be any MORE retro than this week's review of ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL: CURSE OF THE SCORPION (Parts 1-4) from 1941. Serials of the time were shot on the cheap and weren't given much thought- was this first prance of what would one day be known as Shazam a towering landmark for future comic book movies to look back to with reverence or just the first of what would be many dismal failures?
