The Gusto of The Holy Spirit

Acts 2:4-"And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit". Gusto is such a great word in the English language! You can check out Season 10, episode 220, "GUSTO!" where I go into full detail about this word and how it relates to the Christian life well lived. The Holy Spirit, who in a word brings all of the attributes of Jesus Christ to life in us that is the GUSTO of real spiritual life. It is impossible to overestimate the consequences of this sacred filling of the soul. The Holy Spirit to us is sacred oil, purifying water, the light, holy fire, the sacrificial flame, heavenly dew, the dove which hovers over us, the Comforter, working in us an inherited spirit of family by which we can call Him Father. As the wind, he brings the breath of life to us, blowing where he desires; he performs the energizing operations by which the spiritual creation is brought to life in us and sustained. Friend, let’s make it our desire and prayer to feel and know his presence this day and every day.
