Providence Denied!

“Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11)

God is on the throne of Heaven and nothing can thwart His providential care and plan from being advanced on the globe and in the universe. BUT, an individual can de-throne God in their lives by refusing to submit to His power and authority. The end result is disastrous for the person who denies the reality of God's providence. The personal denial opens the door to unbridled sin, bitterness that permeates all aspects of the persons body, soul and spirit, selfish ambition, narcissism, and obliteration of the power and blessing in the persons life, and every form of hedonistic, destructive behavior. The conscience is seared and becomes incapable of sensing the conviction of a Holy God regarding sin. The call is to self-evaluation regarding our attitude toward, sin, the world, and the devil. Our goal should be to exalt God in our lives and give Him first place in our hearts.
