A word of caution regarding an old problem...Jesus's warning found in Matthew 7:1-5. The public domain writings of puritan author John Flavel, puritan atuthor form the 1600s, on the Treatise of the Heart informed the writing of this podcast. I will say more about the whole realm of our soul in 2023. It is an area of great neglect and in great need of attention, especially as we continue to live under great duress in our culture. As Mark Heimermann said in our most recent guest at the time of the posting of this episode, with regards to our proximity to the end of days...we need to be trimming our wicks and tending to the oil in our lamps. a reference to the parable of the ten virgins: Matthew 25:1-13. NOW is the TIME to get OUR OWN AFFAIRS in order to meet Jesus.
