The book of Revelation has been heavy, the wrath of God has been shown to us so graphically we can see, smell, and taste the destruction. We see that in the previous chapter 21, God wraps up the story with the vision of the coming Glory. And with this final chapter, God doubles back one last time with warnings and promises and the double down admonition to keep the words of this book. Can you join with the Spirit and the Bride of Christ and say “Come! Please Come Lord Jesus!” We can know peace and joy of God in the midst of such disturbing times as we keep his Word, immerse ourselves in it, keep our eyes on the coming certain reward, and remember Jesus is watching and listening over all. God has given us the book of Revelation to encourage us in these troubling times. My prayer is that you will join with me and cry out “Please! Come Lord Jesus!” I echo to you the words of the old man who wrote down the words of this prophecy to save for us, 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with everyone. Amen.”
