Cognitive Dissonance

Dissonance- in music it means a lack of harmony among musical notes. Its origin means from the Latin means ‘disagreeing in sound’. "Cognitive dissonance is a mental conflict that occurs when your beliefs don’t line up with your actions, a discrepancy between what your internal values are and what you feel in the moment.  The Bible calls it being a hypocrite; being a two faced person - a person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefs. We will not live in cognitive dissonance. Humans nor God like the condition, and either He or We will do something to alleviate the situation. It is always best if we respond to God in His loving call to change and restoration.
