My talk with Tom was Story Telling with Life Lessons mixed in. Tom's career from front line employee to manager has provided him with a unique perspective on those stage of his life, and how his perspectives have changed over time. With his long commitment to endurance sports showing it is possible to be successful outside of ones career. It just takes intentional planning and dedication. He understood Jocko Willink's phrase "Discipline Equals Freedom" long before it was coined.
