Living 24-7 in our home together during COVID-19 shelter-in-place is somehow (and surprisingly) exhausting. It can feel like everyday is just like the last and nothing new gets accomplished. Our own personal Ground Hog Day! Wake, school, work, lots of cooking, some laundry, fall asleep exhausted...and repeat.

We unpack the tension this "schedule" is creating in our marriage and how it is negatively impacting our sense of connection and our sex life (ouch, a little personal!). It can be discouraging, but we are leaning into how care for each other and how to help each other process the hurt and frustration we are each feeling.

If you can relate, if you are exhausted and stressed and feeling the pain of "social distancing," come and listen and be encouraged! Remember, you are doing a great job! Keep working hard, caring for your kids and loving your spouse sacrificially. And, take a minute to thank someone who is out there keeping the world running or keeping us safe in this difficult time.

We skip the Stat of the Week this episode, but we do reference the potential growth in divorce rates coming after quarantine ends. We also end with a bonus "thank you" session to all the people working hard right now.

We truly appreciate you listening! Please take a minute to share this episode with a friend who might be encouraged by this conversation or who just needs a good laugh at our expense.
