Christmas Makes Mommy Sad - Part 2 #017

We've had a couple of days to think about the beginning of this conversation and have more to say about the difficulties and sadness around Christmas.

During the previous episode, David spent a little too much time trying to "fix" the problem. However, sometimes it is just okay to be sad, to sit in our unfulfilled longing, to look forward to heaven. Christmas is a spiritual time and we talk about how our faith informs how we experience Christmas even when  (or especially when) it does not fulfill our expectations or offer us the peace our hearts really long for.

Whether you are religious or not this honest conversation will hopefully be a source of encouragement and hope for this holiday season.
