It is normal to yearn for love and affection, but prison is the last place where one looks to fulfill those needs especially surrounded by only men. However, when certain members of the LGBTQIA community were allowed to dress and look like women, it changed the way they were viewed. Sentenced to die in prison, Bryan had to deal with his own thoughts and desires but was able to overcome them by inflicting bodily harm to others and sometimes even himself.
