A global survey of 2,500 employees and IT leaders across ten countries found that 51% of employees believe AI could replace physical offices, with 62% preferring AI-enhanced remote work and 71% citing improved work-life balance. Sixty-six percent report equal productivity from any location, and 65% say AI improves remote customer service. A disconnect exists between IT leaders, 91% of whom believe AI is used effectively, and employees, with only 53% agreeing. Generational data shows high reported productivity gains from AI across age groups. Sixty-one percent of employees prefer investment in AI over office perks, prompting leaders to reconsider budget allocations and assess the ROI, compliance, and integration of AI tools in the workplace.
