How Selmer's Community Rallies After April's Devastating Storms

The U.S. Small Business Administration, the City of Selmer, and the McNairy County Chamber of Commerce are organizing a Disaster Recovery Resource Fair on September 4 at the Selmer Civic Center to provide counseling, resource booths, and disaster loan application assistance to families and businesses affected by April storms. The SBA is offering a 60-day grace period for physical damage loan applications and has set the economic injury application deadline for March 19, 2026. Assistance is available online, by phone, and through telecommunications relay services.
