Are Wireless Chargers About to Get a Major Speed Boost?

Ugreen announced a Qi2.2-certified power bank capable of 25-watt wireless charging, exceeding the current 15-watt standard in the U.S. The MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank includes a 10,000mAh battery, built-in USB-C cable, an additional USB-C port, and a power display. The Wireless Power Consortium has not finalized the Qi2.2 standard, so Ugreen has not confirmed a release date or pricing but projects a Q3 2025 launch. The Qi2.2 standard is expected to support up to 50-watt charging, stronger magnets for better alignment, dynamic power output, and enhanced safety features.
