Good afternoon.  I would be delighted if you would join me as I walk in the hooley to Sherborne’s Abbey.  The wind is far too loud so a bit of fast-forwarding might be necessary.  I take you inside the Abbey to visit the bones of former Wessex kings.  And then we read Bede’s famous telling of the story of ‘Angli’ slaves in Rome.
