Today we are talking through one of our new favourites, Dalmuir. The story behind this golf course is incredible, with the local community refusing to let it shut despite plans from the council, leading to a charitable trust and volunteers now running the course. From starting with zero in the bank account to now providing jobs for the local community, it's a great story on how far people will go to save a place they truly love ✨

We had the pleasure of playing Dalmuir just weeks after it reopened, and immediately we could see how important this place is to their members. In a time when a lot of golf courses are struggling, and often facing closure, it prompts a conversation as to what clubs can do to ensure longevity and a successful future ⛳️
