Imagine receiving a divine greeting, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. Amen." Just as the angel Gabriel spoke these words to Mary, know that you too are "highly favored." In the eyes of God, His love knows no bounds, and if he loves you, dear listener, you are indeed highly favored.  In Luke 1 verses 26-38, we find the power of God's divine authority. This episode goes into depth explaining the miracles that occurred due to the power of God's word, which is made in promise. We sometimes fall short into thinking our word holds so much strength rather than proclaiming how mistaken we can be. Lets us dive into this message as we hear God speaking his truths into our hearts!

This Sunday sermon, based on Luke 1 verses 26-38, was preached at Grace of God Lutheran Church on December 19, 2023. This sermon is preached by pastor Timothy J. Walsh, a member of WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod). Scripture selections come from the New International Version.

Our services are at 9:30am every Sunday morning, at our campus in Dix Hills on Long Island. Visit our website for more information, at www.graceofgod.church
