1 Samuel 3:1-10. "What Happens When God Speaks?"

In this message, we're introduced to an important, but relatively unknown, figure in Biblical history. Samuel was used by God to turn God's people back to God's Word. Samuel also served to lead Israel in their transition to a monarchy. 

In all of the events of Samuel's life, we see God's grace - his gift-giving, undeserved love - at work. God's people did not deserve to have his Word brought freshly to them. The y did not deserve new leaders. Nor do we! Samuel's life showcases God's grace, and it reminds us that when God speaks to us, his love for us brings us new life and assurance for our futures.
