The President of CNN, Jeff Zucker, has "resigned" from his position after 9 years with the company. Zucker claimed the decision was due to him failing to disclose his "consensual relationship" with CNN's Chief of Marketing, Allison Gollust.

Zucker is recently divorced, but the affair with Gollust is rumored to go back several years.

Nobody believes that excuse. The New York Post is reporting that Zucker was forced out by CNN's new parent company, AT&T because recently fired host Andrew Cuomo's lawyers were complaining that the company was selectively enforcing its conduct policies. And the lawyers specifically pointed to Zucker's relationship, which was apparently an open secret. So AT&T forced Zucker out.

As Zucker’s time comes to an end, ratings were down 90% in January from the same time last year

January 2021: CNN averaged nearly 2.7 million viewers
January 2022: CNN averaged 548,000 viewers

The CNN cesspool: Over the past year, the network has had several major sexual scandals, aside from this new one with Zucker:

A producer on Chris Cuomo's show went to jail for being a pedophile.

A second producer on Jake Tapper's show is under criminal investigation for crimes involving "potential juvenile victims".

Don Lemon was accused of molesting another man in a bathroom three years ago
Jeffrey Toobin masturbated on camera during a Zoom call and is still employed at the company

Trump weighed in on Zucker's departure, saying: “Jeff Zucker, a world-class sleazebag who has headed ratings and real-news-challenged CNN for far too long, has been terminated for numerous reasons, but predominantly because CNN has lost its way with viewers and everybody else... Jeff Zucker is gone—congratulations to all!”
