It turns out the rot at Twitter ran deeper than we knew...

Elon Musk fired Twitter's Deputy General Counsel Jim Baker after he discovered that Baker was vetting, and possibly suppressing, the internal company documents/emails that Musk wanted to be turned over to journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss.

Musk tweeted:

"In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today."
