We were delighted to have Dr. Shannon Inglet join us in-studio to talk about her life growing up in a polygamist sect here in Utah.
When people learn that Shannon grew up in a polygamist home, they immediately lean forward and say something like, “That is so interesting!” And it was. But it was also terrible. And, in retrospect, it was ludicrous to the point of hilarity.
Shannon Inglet was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Utah and currently practices as a medication safety specialist for a large Utah hospital. Her favorite people in the world are her wonderful husband and adorable two year old son; her favorite canine is a Doberman named Tesla. Shannon enjoys travelling, cooking and eating, and running marathons (which facilitates more cooking and eating).
