Yesterday was the Feast of the Ascension, and today we’re talking about how it’s celebrated a bit differently in Canada and the U.S. While American Catholics go to Mass on Ascension Thursday, Canadian Catholics celebrate it on the following Sunday. It’s not about winning gold medals—just a difference in how our bishops guide us through the liturgical year. No matter the day, the Ascension reminds us that Jesus has gone to the Father and promises to send us the Holy Spirit!
