Today Holy Mother Church celebrates the Triumph of the Cross. Let's compare the cross to a trophy. How does it compare? When thinking about the NHL you think of the Stanley Cup. The ultimate trophy, you want to win is the Stanley Cup. If you play in the NFL, you think of the Vince Lombardi trophy, and that becomes your obsession. For us friends, the cross is that trophy. Jesus played the game for us and gave it to us as our prize. Let's talk more about this in today's podcast alongside Fr. Rico
