Krista Tippett and the on being project. Lucas Johnson lives in Europe and the USA while he works with The Civil Conversation part of the On Being Project. We talked about Vincent Harding's huge influence as Lucas was mentored by him up until his death. 'Uncle Vincent' was a very close associate of Martin Luther King, Jr. Lucas has written about the gap in perspectives between those who focus on what was accomplished by the Civil Rights (Black Freedom) movement of the 50s and 60s and those who focus on what was not accomplished. We discuss that.
